Plagiarism Policy

For the articles submitted to the Journal of Psychological Research Perspectives, plagiarism checks are conducted using the iThenticate software. This check is performed both before the articles are sent to field editors and after the authors have made the necessary revisions based on the reviewers’ suggestions. The authors are responsible for all legal and scientific aspects of the articles submitted to the Journal of Psychological Research Perspectives. Plagiarism is checked as follows:

All manuscripts uploaded to the journal system for review must be prepared in accordance with ethical rules
The plagiarism report of the article is uploaded to the system.
In addition, when all evaluation processes and author correction processes are completed, the plagiarism report is finally received before the article is published.
If it is determined that the similarity rate is higher after the article in the evaluation process is edited by the author, the author is allowed to edit again and the final evaluation process starts again.
Manuscripts that do not comply with the editorial principles and scope of the journal are rejected by the editor without being evaluated.
In cases of unfair authorship or gift authorship, the editors have the authority to act in accordance with the COPE flowchart and COPE Policy on Authorship and Contribution for newly submitted or published works. Individuals listed as authors must meet the authorship criteria recommended by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
The contents of the articles published in the journal cannot be quoted or copied in whole or in part without reference.
In addition, the responsibility for the use of artificial intelligence in the studies belongs to the author.
As stated in detail in the 'Plagiarism policy' section on the journal's website, the use of artificial intelligence and artificial intelligence-supported technologies in the writing process is only allowed for the readability of the manuscript and to improve the language.

Declaration of the Use of Artificial Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence-Supported Technology

The use of AI tools to generate or analyze data as part of the research process is not accepted. Authors should only use these technologies to improve readability and language in the writing process. Authors should carefully review and edit the output, as AI can generate authoritative-sounding output that can be incorrect, incomplete, or biased. It should be stated how and in which parts artificial intelligence and artificial intelligence-supported technologies were used, and it should be declared that responsibility is accepted for all possible consequences. The journal adheres to the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) regarding the use of artificial intelligence..
Authors who have used artificial intelligence technologies in the article writing process should declare the use of artificial intelligence in the writing process by adding a new section titled “Declaration of Use of Artificial Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence-Assisted Technology” before the “References” list.
Statement should include: During the preparation of this work the author(s) used [NAME TOOL / SERVICE] in order to [REASON]. After using this tool/service, the author(s) acknowledge and agree that they have reviewed and edited the content and assume full responsibility for the content of the publication.
The artificial intelligence software used should not be written in the reference list. If artificial intelligence is not used, there is no need to add the section.
